How-to: Starting in the middle, write down the main problem which you have identified and then in each of the blank spaces attempt to create a “How Might We” question in order to reframe the problem as a series of questions. How might we questions should not be too broad nor too narrow. For inspiration, try using some of the words on the first page of the tool in order to rephrase the question using positive language.
Purpose: Although rephrasing and reframing the question may feel repetitive, by reframing you are able to start imagining various ways of approaching the problem as there are lots of ways of solving a single problem. This is important in the design stage so that you are able to focus on the problem and not just a single solution.
