Today’s consumer has changed along with the landscape in which we market. In the past a customer would walk in to a store and speak with a sales person to get information before making a purchase. Today consumers have multiple channels to explore and on average need to hit ten touchpoints before they will make a brand-based purchase.
The truth is, the consumer and the market place are in a constant state of evolution. One thing that remains constant is the human at the centre – the customer. So, it stands to reason that human-centred design principles will hold true, in fact, in their very design they will evolve with the human at the centre.
Our latest infographic highlights the many ways that marketing has changed from then to now and how a human-cented design approach, is the best way to prepare for coming evolutions.
