Our approach to culture consulting…
1. Diagnose your current state
Before you can shape culture, you need to understand what is really going on.
Using the principles of human-centred design, we get under the hood of your organisation to uncover the patterns, experiences, blockers and behaviours shaping your current culture. That might mean speaking with leaders and teams, mapping lived experience, identifying friction points, exploring where trust or momentum is breaking down, and understanding the systems and habits that are reinforcing the status quo.
This is not about surface-level assumptions or generic engagement fixes. It is about seeing your organisation as it is actually experienced by the people in it.
2. Co-design your cultural foundations
Culture change is far more effective when people can see where they are heading and why it matters.
We work with organisations to co-design the cultural foundations that support a stronger future state. This may include your vision, purpose, values, leadership principles or behavioural expectations, depending on what is needed.
Rather than developing statements that sound good on a wall, we help create foundations that are meaningful, practical and able to guide real decisions and behaviours across the organisation.
3. Co-design a strategy for the culture you want to create
A desired culture does not come to life on its own.
Once there is clarity around your future state, we help co-design the strategy that will support it. This includes identifying the mechanisms, practices, rituals, systems and behaviours that will promote stronger engagement, better alignment, healthier momentum, innovation and wellbeing.
In other words, we help translate aspiration into action.
That might involve designing new ways of working, embedding more useful communication rhythms, identifying opportunities to strengthen collaboration, clarifying decision-making, improving feedback loops, or addressing structural barriers that are getting in the way of the culture you want.
4. Coach leaders in human-centred leadership
Culture is shaped every day by leadership.
Even the best culture strategy will struggle if leaders are not equipped to bring it to life in practice. That is why we also support leaders to build the mindset, skill and consistency needed to lead in more human-centred ways.
